The 12th Dignity in Care Network Meeting was held Friday 6th March 2015 at BAWA and focusing on Diet & Nutrition and Continence.
Louise Chambers, from Milestones Trust led on a project work in partnership with South Gloucestershire Council and North Bristol Trust to look at improving diet and nutrition across the residential setting. Louise provided an overview of the project detailing some of the challenges and success and everyone discussed challenges, ideas and solutions in their own workplaces.
The second session led by Roslyn Davies a Community Matron in Sirona talked about Continence. Stating the importance of ensuring dignity in every aspect of this area of support is so important. We looked at the changes, challenges and possible solutions. There were also a range of discussions and questions to Rosalyn.
