South Gloucestershire Dignity in Care Network

South Gloucestershire Council has funded Care Focus (South West) CIC to set up and run a Dignity in Care Network for care providers during 2016/17.

All care providers who are based or provide a service in South Gloucestershire area are invited to join this Network. Three meetings a year will be held, each one following one of the 10 Dignity Challenges. Meetings will be a morning session (9.30am to 1pm) with an invited speaker(s), workshop discussions, an opportunity to share good practice and to network with other care providers.

Speakers: Paul Chapman, CQC, Inspection Manager for adult social care in South Gloucestershire

Paul manages the inspection team that is responsible for inspecting adult social care services across South Gloucestershire making sure that services provide people with safe, effective and high quality care. He has worked in the regulation of health and social care services for the past 14 years across South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire.

The Dignity in Care network is about sharing ideas with other Dignity Champions in addition to learning more about important issues in care and support.

Aquila Partnership Closure

Aquila Partnership CIC who organised the Dignity in Care Network since 2012 ceased trading on the 31st December. South Gloucestershire Council has now funded Care Focus (South West) CIC to continue running the network for 2016/17.
